The town set was built specifically for the series in North Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia
Synopsis
Uncover the mystery of a town in the middle of the USA that traps anyone who enters it. As residents struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and find a way out, they must also survive the dangers of the surrounding forest. Known as Beaver Bank Villa, the site has a long history and many years ago housed housing units, a community hall, fire station, school, church, supermarket, etc.
When Boyd enters a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well
(all demolished by 2004) to support workers at a nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. The paved streets and driveways were all that remained, and the artificial town was built atop them. Although his wrists are chained, (presumably) Martin in the room above drops a rope down to him..
They’re heading straight for the same trap

Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be)Written by Jay Livingston and Ray EvansPerformed by The PixiesI’m writing this for the writers and producers of the show:Please don’t make this another “Lost” — another disappointment. None of the characters communicate with each other or share what’s happening in the town.
And that’s so annoying
It’s as if they’ve suddenly become clueless and are intentionally withholding crucial information that could help them understand what’s going on. Also, something new happens in every single episode, but it’s never explained. I’ve watched 14 episodes so far, and nothing has been resolved — just like “Lost.” So please, writers and producers, don’t spoil this one for me, either.
