Synopsis
During the four tumultuous decades of the Troubles in Northern Ireland, the real Dolours Price was married to Irish actor Stephen Rea for two decades (1983-2003).
This is an incredible piece of television
In this film, Rea plays Fergus, an extremely reluctant and ambivalent member of the Irish Republican Army (IRA) – the same organisation Price was involved with for many years.
Dolours and Marion demonstrate in graphic detail the old saying “Nature versus nurture”
It takes us through this period of Irish history and shows its signs (and therefore the true story), flaws and all.
They were born into a Republican family of activists/volunteers and that is exactly what they became

The so-called legitimate parties in Irish politics are not better and more effective
