Callas’ longtime companion Aristotle Onassis went on to marry former first lady Jacqueline Kennedy
Synopsis
Maria Callas, the world’s greatest opera singer, lives out her final days in 1970s Paris as she grapples with her identity and her life. Angelina Jolie and director Pablo Larraín discuss how they connected with the heartbreaking true story of world-renowned opera singer Maria Callas. Kennedy was the subject of Pablo Larraín’s previous biopic, 2016’s “Jackie,” starring Natalie Portman in the title role.
I’m in the mood to be adored

If it weren’t for Angelina Jolie!
To be fair, she was great in the acting parts. I wasn’t sold on the singing parts. The film, however, was a great closing chapter in a life far less worthy of Maria Callas.
She was a wonderful soul whose talent had generated both appreciation and agony
It presents the last 7 days of her life and uses flashbacks to revisit her journey. In doing so, it engrosses you so much that you can no longer tell the difference between her delusions and her real memories. It does, however, touch on many of the awkward moments that defined her career.
