Synopsis
The Jackal is an elusive assassin who makes his living performing high-paying hits

The show moves the setting to the present day
Mentioned in Graham Norton and guest stars: Denzel Washington/Paul Mescal/Saoirse Ronan/Eddie Redmayne/Blossoms (2024). This would have been an exceptional cat-and-mouse chase if the female lead had been anyone else, literally any other. The way she portrays the detective makes the viewer, at least this one, not want to root for her.
I don’t like her or care about her
She seems like a mean, cold, know-it-all, selfish woman. Yes, she’s on the police force and what she does is right, but how she does it is terrible! Because of that, I feel like a lot of us who watch the show will root for the Jackal.
And I know I’m not the only one
He’s everything she’s not, even though he’s a killer. I don’t want her to succeed in her mission, and I don’t want the Jackal to get caught. I don’t think that’s the way it should be, but that’s how I feel.
It seems like she’s getting close to him
Unfortunately, if she does, it’ll make me stop watching this show. And it’s a shame, because he’s amazing at it!
