In a mysterious and surreal intermediate zone somewhere between Tehran and Winnipeg, the lives of several characters are intertwined in a surprising and mysterious way. Pupils of Negin and Nazgol elementary school find a sum of money frozen in the winter ice and ask to take it back. Meanwhile, Massoud leads a group of increasingly confused tourists around Winnipeg’s monuments and historic sites. Matthew leaves his pointless job in a government agency in Quebec and goes on a mysterious journey to visit his mother. Space, time and personal identities intersect, intertwine and echo in a surreal comedy of disorientation.
